Anniversary

To celebrate the 100th beer review on my blog, Im drinking a beer thats having an anniversary too. If you havent heard, Guinness celebrates 250 this year. Thats a lot of beer.
Theyve made a special anniversary stout this year, which according to the label is a "premium recipe with a refreshing tatse." I'll admit my first thought was "does that mean the Guinness Ive been drinking all these years isnt a premium recipe?"
The first thing you'll notice is that theres no widget in the bottle, like the regular "pub-draft" Guinness you usually see. No worries, though, as it pours with the huge creamy head we've come to expect. All those great malty bitter coffee flavors of Guinness are here. So whats the difference between this and the regular Guinness? I thought this one had a bit more body, and a certain sourness that you dont get in the regular. Not that thats a bad thing, this one turned out very nicely. Very refreshing and drinkable, and a great beer for drinking while grilling ribs on the 4th.
